The Global Internet Economy Conference (GIEC) 2023 Hangzhou Summit was held on November 24 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center, as a concurrent event of the 2nd Global Digital Trade Expo. With the theme "Digital-Real Integration, Innovation Empowerment," the summit focused on digital commerce, live-streaming e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, rural e-commerce, and new retail sectors. More than 300 government officials, experts, scholars, and business leaders gathered to discuss opportunities and challenges in digital commerce. The summit also released the 2022-2023 Digital Business Innovation Case Studies. GIEC, as one of the top-tier event platforms in the internet and technology sector, has attracted over 900+ renowned internet companies and unicorns including Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu, JD.com, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Ping An, NetEase, 360, 58.com, HC, Lenovo, ZTE, TCL, and Kingsoft, with over 70,000 industry participants cumulatively.
